Play golf on one of Germany’s most beautiful golf courses: the Jakobsberg golf course. The 18-hole championship course is situated high above the Lorelei valley with a view of the Rhine’s hairpin curve at Boppard. Nestled between vineyards and the forest you can enjoy the tranquillity and nature here during your golf trip.
The golf course is ideal for professionals, experts and beginners. It has been a training base for the national team since 1997 and all kinds of golf tournaments take place here during the year. Are green fees, putting green and driving range foreign words to you? Not for much longer, as our golf instructors will teach you everything that is worth knowing about golf during the introduction to golf and golf lessons.
The fairways are strongly modelled and each feature four teeing grounds as well as large bunkers and numerous water hazards. The greens are very fast and undulated. The driving range offers 20 range tees, 5 of them covered, a putting green and practice bunker.
The golf course was built based on plans by the famous American golf course architect Robert Trent Jones jr. and implemented by Wolfgang Jarsombek. At first glance it reminds you of Florida, the sunshine state in the USA. For us the Jakobsberg golf course is the most beautiful spot in the sun. Sculptures and works of art by J. Seward Johnson jr., Ellen Muck and Ralf Jantzen, which have been tastefully integrated into the golf course, complete the impression of a first-class course.
